Blackberry help!!!

I have 2 email addresses linked to windows live, a hotmail address(which is linked to my blackberry) and another.
Most of my subscription emails are linked to the other address, and those that were linked to hotmail (ebay and facebook) I have switched them over to avoid getting lots of messages on my blackberry.
The problem now is those emails are still coming through to my blackberry, despite me changing the addresses over. I've been back and checked the accounts.
Is this a widows live issue?
Ive just deleted 29 messages and I can hear my phone buzzing away downstairs!! Im regretting using my hotmail account!!!
