Is this the worst ever Ebay fees avoidance?

Weigh your laptop, add 2kg for secure packaging then go to the post office and ask how much it is to post guarenteed next day delivery.(minimum £17.50) so to suggest this is the biggest ebay fees rip off is ridiculous. The ebay feees rip off would be if the seller was asking £19.95 for the laptop and £999 postage - that way he would only pay valuation fees on the £19.95.
Seller clearly states "Please note item will be delivered directly from the manufacturer (No Collection)" .
Conclusion so far - postage not excessive and not fee avoidance.
However, i'd look at his feedback as a seller and take a judgement on whether I'd part with over a grand for someone who's only sold £10.99 worth of goods and still hasn't got positive feedback.0 -

The listing has been changed - when this thread first started the laptop was listed at 99p with postage of £999.0 -

Apologies - I have just noticed he's changed his listing.
Avoid at all cost anyway !0 -
I'm pretty sure ASUS don't dropship or sell direct to retailers/resellers, Micro-P seem to be the only distributor of this laptop in the UK. I'd quite happily put money on this being a scam and the seller doesn't even have access to purchase this laptop going from their feedback.0

Asus Sales Team? LolI'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

eBay pulled the listing anyway. Eventually.0
