Good card to use abroad?

hi,

I was just wondering if anyone out there could recommend a good credit cared or debit card to use abroad.

I have a post office card for using as a card, but what can I use to avoid being stung for withdrawing cash.

My bank has just changed their rules, and are going to start charging me a fortune.

Metrobank offer a fee free debit card

Only snag is you have to open the accont in person at their branch in London

Also Cumberland Building Society - but only if you have an address in their branch area.

Otherwise Nationwide (I assume that's your current bank) are still more competitive than many - particularly if you make large withdrawals rather than small ones.

And 'a fortune' is a bit of an exaggeration, isn't it?.

well if i'm only taking out €10 or €20 then percentage wise then yes it is...

With those small amount then you want to avoid fixed fees.

Halifax clarity credit card is 12.9% annual interest (about 1% per month), so very low if you payit off quickly.
