X Box Question

DH has strongly hinted that he would like the "new XBox" for his birthday. I apologise for the stupid question , but is this the one? http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.209-4454.aspx . He has a white X Box 360 which I would guess is around 3 years old. Thanks all.

That is indeed the latest and greatest version of the 360.

If memory serves around Xmas time they'll bring out a bundle that includes...

• The new Xbox (£190)
• Xbox Kinect (130)
• A Kinect game (around £40)

OK, further stupid question. Do I need to buy an HDMI cable and a new controller?

It'll come with one controller and as far as I know, the older controllers work with the new 360.

I believe it only comes with a composite cable. HDMI cables can be had for a couple of quid these days.

Yup, as said it will come with a composite cable..

But don't bother with a HDMI cable unless your TV (or monitor) has a HDMI input!
