I need help please! I am replacing my laptop (Toshiba Satellite Pro L300) for a desktop. I use it for my work (self-employed administrator), I have I-Tunes on the laptop and will keep them there, don't do any gaming unless you include the odd facebook game! I need Microsoft Office Home & Business (Professional would be lovely) and would like Windows 7 other than that I have no idea! Budget is about £600. Many thanks

Are you looking for a system that includes a monitor or would you be willing to consider buying the monitor separately? Do you have any preference for the size of monitor you would like. These days 19-22" seem to be pretty standard. Would you prefer to buy on the High Street or online?0

After looking at a number of online stores there are many base units that would suit your requirements comprising older components being sold off cheap. However, I have selected a base unit that I think is pretty much up to date component wise and will give you a bit more performance than you need at this time. This is no bad thing as your requirements may change in the not too distant future so you'll want something that can cope and be upgraded if or when necessary or funds allow.
I have provided a link to the PC below:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/pc/range/iflame.html
The price is £449 incl VAT and Win 7 Home Premium installed. You can have Win 7 Home Professional installed instead for £479 inc VAT.
All you'd need to do extra is install an anti virus program eg Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast 5 (both Free downloads) then
buy and install Microsoft Home & Business or Professional 2010.
The price of the latter can vary but Google will find a good deal or you can talk to Novatech about them adding it to the system for you.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thank you, I'm just looking at it now.0
