Hey thanks for looking, i know there are already a number of topics concerning this company but I'd really appreciate it if i could get some advice on my specific case. I'm 19 years old and have no experience or knowledge of law and how these things work.
I received a letter with photographs attached 2 days ago, the PCN charge was £70 but £40 if I paid with in 4 days of the notification... conventionally the letter was sent on the 17th and i'd received it on the 22nd however i paid the fine of £70 (i had no internet at the time so wasn't aware of all the advice on here) because i just wanted the issue resolved, i also believed that it was genuine as I had overstayed the allotted 2 hour period.
I then got a letter the next day saying exactly the same but without the photo's so i assume this is just some kind of follow up reminder.
I have now just received a second claim through the post for a week later, this letter is exactly the same as the 2nd letter i received but with different dates, i believe that i also did outstay the 2 hour period on this date as well however judging by the advice i have seen on this forum i should ignore the claim whether it is genuine or not.
I know your all bored of answering these but as i say i have no experience with law or the legal system and things like this that look official will obviously be more scary to me than someone who knows what to do.
My question is should i just ignore the second fine?? and what will happen if i do??
I'd really appreciate your help on this,
Craig

For a start it's not a "fine", it's an unenforceable invoice. So just ignore. As to what will happen if you ignore them, the only negative part is that your paper recycle bin will fill up a bit faster with all the junk-mail they will send to you. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Simply ignore. They will give up after 4 or 5 letters.0
