I am wondering if there is anthing I can do?
We booked on the 14th Sept and after checking the same holiday yesterday found it is £60 cheaper.
I have a feeling that I won't be able to get it back but wanted to ask the question on here first.
We booked with Thomas Cook in store and they price matched their website price for us.
Any advice/suggestions as much appreciated.
Thanks, Karen x

Stop checking the price. If it had gone up by £60 would you be offering TC money?
You were happy with the price you booked at, so leave it be.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Def should be a sticky. You only ever see this question asked about holidays.
Why do people keep looking after they have booked?0 -
Sorry, but I have to agree, stop looking at the prices.
In future years, find a price you're happy with and then don't EVER look back.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -
While this is generally extremely wise advice, looking back and checking can be a long-term money-saving strategy. You might book flights 11 months in advance (ie when the seats are first released) on the assumption that airlines sell their cheaper seats first (you often get the message 'Only 5 seats left at this price').Sorry, but I have to agree, stop looking at the prices.
In future years, find a price you're happy with and then don't EVER look back.;)
Checking back a few weeks or months later might show the same flights to be much cheaper, and a year down the line you might save yourself some money by ignoring the 'Only 5 seats left at this price ' message and booking later at a lower price.
Of course, with flight tickets, prices fluctuate ridiculously, so what's true one year won't be true a year later......0 -
I booked my holiday last week and have not checked any of the prices since don't wanna know if it is cheaper now .. had enough bad news with the pending strike to spain :0)IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:0

Presumably they didn't hold a gun to your head and made you pay what you paid?
You paid a price you could afford to pay and had the peace of mind of knowing your holiday is sorted. Just leave it now and look forward to your holiday, prices can go up as well as down0
