Benefit entitlement??

hi everyone

Need help/advice!! I've been made redundant about 4 months ago, i've not claimed anything since and i now look after my 2 little ones, my partner works full time and earns about 56K a year as IT contractor.
What i would like to know is am I entitle to something or should i've claimed before, and as a couple as well are we entitle to anything??

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated...
thank you

If your not looking for work then their are no benefits you can claim, if you were looking for a job then you may qualify for conts based JSA but you would need to be actively seeking employment and accept a job if you were offered one.

On your husbands salary, its very doubtful.

Had you paid NI for some time, maybe JSA but I'm not sure.

NI conts for 2007-2008 and 2008-2009

She will only get JSA if she has paid enough NI conts and is looking for work.

No you're partner earns a decent wage.
  • Your partner earns 56K and your asking if your entitled to any benefits?

    WHat a ludicrous question...

Do couples in relationships not support each other any more?

You should be entitled to nothing as your partner is earning a very high wage.
