Sammy that's the problem. I would have sworn that it was all together when I put it in my bag. It's awful actually....I don't even know whether I was hustled at the time I sold the hard top because I'm doubting myself so much.

I just feel really bad because it wasn't even my money....

Being hustled is a possibility I guess....

I know its not your money but there is nothing you can do about it and you need to stop being so hard on yourself. Its one of those things....a hard knock but :grouphug:

Remember my OH getting hustled in Spain....:o

It's come over dark here too, but not enough to draw the curtains yet. Will be on my jack jones this evening waiting for DD2 and DS to ring for me to collect them....

    Anything good on tv tonight??

Really sorry about the bank Suzy.

Butti, good luck for the new term, I can't believe it's come round so quickly!

I'm a happy Ames, my book club friend emailed and she's sorting out tickets for Hamlet. She also told me about a lit fest in Sheffield, and Audrey Niffenegger's on so I've just bought a ticket, I'm so glad I don't have to rely on getting there early and hoping there's a return like I would in Ilkley.

Jealous of the run...i seriously do not have time to run now but my colleague has promised me today that when we have an office together (1st Feb 2011) she will run with me every lunch...:T

Bookie would like to put it on record that she does NOT run and has no intention of starting! And she also hopes the office will have a shower! :D

:rotfl: it is a condensor dryer but its the door, it keeps popping open so i have to stick the door shut with tape...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I am too [STRIKE]mean[/STRIKE] skint to buy a new one but I think I am going to have to get a new one before winter really sets in.

I know other people manage without them but with OH working away and needing his washing done in one day then I would be stuck without it.
Sammy - get a bit of wood - a length of 2x4 for example and prop it against the closed door leaning on it. It provides some pressure to keep the door closed.

Or you could try some other heavy household item, maybe even a doorstop?
