Hi,
can anyone please advise me how to get MBNA/GLOBAL VANTAGE/AEGIS to STOP calling my landline and mobile, there is a payment plan in place and still I am receiving calls. Would telling them that they have dialled the wrong number help? I have written letter using template form site (thank you all) advising to contact me via writing only, they should receive that today. Is there anything else I can do??? they have called 3 times in twenty minutes already today first call 08.37am. Advice and help welcomed.

I would change your number its easier.0 -
In the end we had to change our number dispite sending out the same letter as yourself (this was to do with Lloyds). However after they had received my letter I logged the amount of calls and texts I received from Lloyds on both my landline and mobile and then complained sending a copy of the call logs to Office of Fair Trading. The calls and texts to my mobile stopped soon after that.0

Thanks for the advice in advance, I have MBNA and I know when I got in a bit of a mess before how they were with phone calls every day at all times of day. Even when you spoke to them and explained they didn't stop until they were paid.
I know they just want their money but they should also have a little understanding when people are facing money troubles, especially at the moment.0 -
Just change your number and only give it to family .it is free to do so and can be done in a week .CALLS STOP then.It is my view people should not be sat in there home pestered by the phone calls or afraid to answer it .0
