Msn turning smiles into word codes?

Help, my msn 7.5 turning the smiles into word codes how to re-set them to normal smiles!?.

You need to click on the button that you use for your smilies. Once there, single click on the smilie that you want to change, and I think you select the option change or edit (dont have it open right now, but it is along those lines)

Once you click that, a new box will open where you can change the code that you use for that smilie, so say if a sparkly lol is coming up when you type lol, just put a * before it.

That is somewhere in options at the top, if you mean the noise you get when someone messages you back. Just have a look at tools, then options then look under alerts and sounds.
