Recommend sweet white wine?

Can anyone recommend a sweet white wine that comes in a box.
This is definitely money saving - I don't really drink, and the odd glass for OH is not something I want to stop - but we never manage a full bottle.
I've some frozen for cooking, and father helps with bottles but he is very good at opening the bottle, drinking a glass and then switching to whiskey.
Many thanks.

I don't know of any sweet wine in a box, but as an alternative give sainsbugs own label med sweet wine or sweet wine a try, both retail at £3.49 the medium is quite pleasant.0

I really like dessert wine, they often come in screwtop bottles, which would help you. Tesco's Moscatel de Valencia is 3.63 a bottle -- screwtop -- it gets very good reviews. (I buy it now and then, it is good.)0

I think if you like to drink sweet white wine you should attempt to change your palette.
Sweet wine is the worst of wine, unless its from a late grape which provides more flavours the "spatleses" from Deutschland being my favourite
But as the general sweet stuff which my sister has been known to drink is the worst of the worse, try the above:)0 -
Rougemount Castle white wine comes in a box and is very sweet. Couldn't tell you what it costs but I drank it in my student days (when I was less fussy!) so it must be cheap.
Sweet wine is minging though...just for the record0 -

Why bother to respond if your only intention is to slag off other peoples choices, these forums are full of people who think they are they're the only ones with any valid opinions. By the way, it's palate not palette unless you want to paint with it.
Anyhow, back to the question, not sure of any in a box but I would thoroughly recommend Sainsburys finest Gewurtztraminer, it comes in a screw top and would keep for three or four days in the fridge after opening, it's not unbearably sweet but very easy drinking, yummy! It is a bit pricey though at around £8.00 a bottle but definitely worth it IMHO. Some of the supermarkets also do a selection of small bottles, I used to buy these in ASDA years ago, they were always about 3 or 4 for a fiver, it might be worth checking out if there are any sweet ones in these.0 -
lambrini do a still boxed wine which is very sweet and very cheap.0

Thank you for all the suggestions. I am going to have a look at the Sainsbury ones in particular as I do my grocery shopping there.
Also, my palette is fine, I have quite a good colour sense. I don't feel a need to try and change what I like, as most of the wine will be drank by OH and father, so I will average about two glasses per month, and I don't feel the need to 'Hyacinth Bucket' for that. Some people like things different to others, that's fine. Trying to like something else because you ought to - bit silly.
But it did make me smile, thank you.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

I agree with your comments about Gewürztraminer - my favourite ! - apart from suggesting that it is sweet - it certainly isn't !
The "official" term for it is "off dry". It can be very aromatic which can give the impression of sweetness to the nose but it certainly isn't sweet to the taste.0 -
moscatel
cotes de bordeaux
sainsburys do a spanish sweet white
unless you go for some of the german wines like niersteiner or liebfraumilch
imo theres nothing wrong with sweet whites but then i do tend to drink pretty much any wine except i wont touch hock,0
