BBC Watchdog on Santander - Dissapointed

I was really disappointed with tonight's BBC Watchdog.
Granted, it showed Santander's many faults, but it completely failed to touch on the migration from A&L/Abbey, people not having access to their money for MONTHS!
They had the Santander Director of Customer relations on the show but she got off VERY lightly. She kept harping on about the fact that 99% are happy customers and that the FOS report from the 1st quarter this year show's they've improved. And that they've hired 600 new customer service staff.
No matter how many monkeys you have, you still won't have a complete set of Shakespeare's work!
That will soon change! I have submitted my complaint to the FOS and I urge everyone else to do the same!
PS! I have already switched to First Direct, but I would like to be able to access MY MONEY. I've been without online access for over 2 months now. I've been sent a letter offering £30 compensation...but it was never credited my account.

Yes the reason the FSO (for a dyslexic that's so close to Serious Fraud Office which seems so more appropriate) have said it's improved is because all the complaints around charges levied for overdrafts have stopped in court so rejected by the FSO on mass.
Lies, damn lies and Santander.Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.0 -
Apparently complaining about overdrafts didn't help whichever TLA body you spoke to (happily avoided all those problems personally). TLA are murder for me, and so common for my job.Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.0

To be honest I've seen a lot of people get off lightly in the last few years on Watchdog. My favourite if the DVLA guy who just kept saying we apologize. Never mind apologizing you cretin what about the people who were not allowed to drive because YOU told them there was no record of this licence.
One guy sent his licence off and it came back with a tank licence. Another whos job invovled driving fast motorbikes came back with a car licence, another chaps was the other way. One woman couldn't drive for three years as they said they had no record of her and the computer system could not be wrong.
That was all he said, we apologize. Don't bodies such as this have an obligation to the put the person in the situation they would;ve been but for their inept conduct?Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -

What do you want, "Hanged, drawn and quartered" on live television?

No but just some sharp questioning. As the example above. I'm sorry. So what about the transport costs that person has incurred because YOUR SYSTEMS were deemed to be infallible? They can't invent a time machine and put things right which is why redress usually comes down to money.
They let them waffle too much too, especially when its basic stuff. People don't care how many satisfied customers you have, though its nice to know, they want to know why you can't empower your staff sufficiently to fix a basic error. It makes people worry that if something complex happens they might as well abandon all hope.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -

Santander have got to be the worst of the worst. Currently opening a current account to get the £100 - the hassle isn't even worth the £100.
Online access was blocked on Thursday despite putting in correct details. The tube on the phone was of no use. He offered to post out new log-in details, they can't even fix it themselves. I told him to stick the account up his !!!! and I will be going to a branch to get the £2.5k back out that I deposited.0
