Hello,
I recently had a rather nasty experience with a car rental co called 353 in Irleand. So I took my car with a full tank. Drove for a week only used half the tank only to be told upon return that even though you have only used a half tank we do not refund the difference i thought .. has anyone else had a similar experience?? I am furious and feel i've been well & truly ripped off

Taken from the Terms and Conditions on their website:
Fuel Policy
Fuel is paid on commencement of the rental. Your rental vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel at a discounted price and should be returned with an empty fuel tank. There is no refund for partial fuel tanks. Rentals of 3 days and under may choose to return their rental vehicle with a full tank of fuel and receive a refund for fuel.

So by the looks of it you don't appear to have a leg to stand on.0 -

Surely that's the whole purpose of this forum ? To let people who haven't read what they signed up for, make themselves look a bit silly ?
