Tesco milk - huge price hike!

Last week the price of Creamfield 3-litre milk shot up from 75p to £1.15 in one mighty bound - over 50%.
Today, it has risen again to £1.32!
During a fortnight in the last 5 weeks, it HAD dropped to 50p, which was excellent.
...but now, up to £1.32??? I buy them, then freeze them as 1 litrex3, especially as there have been tillspits for 75p a £2 milk spend.
What can possibly justify this?
####
Also see that lots of Market Value basics are disappearing - rice bubbles[for yummy Honey Bubble Snaps], oranges, peppers. CS are telling me 'we're no longer ranged to carry them'.

Don't know - it amazed me that so few people stopped and did the simple per litre calc. against Mr T's own brand 2x2l for £3 - bargain not. Just no comparison.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

I find that Supermarkets are quite expensive for milk. Stopped buying around two years ago when they hiked prices. I now buy it cheaper from local Asian stores. If you have any near you it might be worth checking their prices.
Mind you - I've just re-read your post - 75p for three litres is a flaming bargain! That must me a mistake?"fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
Noticed today that Sainsburys have the 2 for £2 offer back for semi, semi-skimmed and full fat milk. Not sure about the 1% as it wasnt stocked in the petrol station shop.Ellie

I just checked, the 75p price was just an offer...offer has now ended so price has gone back to normal. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

############I just checked, the 75p price was just an offer...offer has now ended so price has gone back to normal.
... if that is so, it's still up 17p from £1.15, pretty much 15%.
The £1.15 price which came in 6 weeks back was another hike from 87p, which it had been for many months.

At £1.32 for 3 litres that works out to just over 25p a pint and you're complaining?0

The Creamfields 3 litre milk was £1.50 before the offer when I was ordering it online. TBh when they have offers on and drop the price I am just glad to be able to stock up the freezer. At £1.32 it still isn't back up to what it was here before the offer price.0
