Geat deal OP.

But a little advice from someone who did the DFDS ferry deal to Norway with a 4* hotel overnight. We went in Feb last year and experienced the worst sea sickness ever as the crossing was so rough. When lying down in bed you would be tipped to almost upright standing position. It was rally frightning as I had never experienced travel sickness or a crossing like this before. (I couldn't even keep water down during the 23hr crossing). I spoke to the staff who said that the rough sea crossing unfortunatly happened often during the winter months.

So on the return journey I downed a large quantity of anti motion sickness meds and made it through the crossing just fine (if a little spaced out!!)

The crew also have these meds and are offered to all passangers for free - Just in case

Oh and the actual time in Norway was great - fab hotel.

I did this trip to amsterdam a couple of years ago & it was great fun :-) The crossing out was a bit bumpy though. I did have morning sickness at the time though so that might not helped!

The £38 you mention is extra ferry cost, not the cost of the hotel room overnight, just thought I had better point that out.
