I've brought some great costumes from ebay - but be carefull sometimes they are not cheaper tan buying from somewhere like joke.com0

What I have done for preious halloweans - even pre mse days, we had to dress up at work for hallowean, I went as a witch.
Black skirt (old one), so I used coloured cotton and sewed cobwebs abd broonsticks on
Same with t-shirt
Brought a witches cap
- Use same principle for a child
What I did when my daughter was 3, she was gong to her 1st halloween party
trousers and tshirt - used a set of glitter glue pens (£1 from £1 shops, and homebargains etc),
Decorated them with the pens, but drew cobweb shapes broomsticks, outline witch, cat, - they need to be done in advance because of drying - have to dry them flat, and can only do front legs in one session, to keep the gkue from soaking through in the legs I used rolled up magazine, in the body fo the t-shirt I used flat magazine.
She looked brilliant and she won the prize for best dressed. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I have been looking online at different shops and they're all so expensive in comparison to eBay. I don't mind if lasts only one night as it won't be something that I will be wearing again (I'm not weird hehe). All I want it for is that one night and too look good!
I shall look at joke.com and XS-Party on eBay.Became Mrs C on 14th of August 20100 -
Poundland do plenty of accessories.;)
Go as someone with their head twisted round - normal clothes but backwards and a couple of fake arms holding onto your trick or treat back.
You could wear a mask on the back of your head too- I've seen this a couple of times and it always creeps me out!0 -
Just another thought we have had the local leaflets - and Netto have childrens costumes at £6.00, adults witches dress at £10.00
If you are crafty maybe pick something up at a charity shop and adjust from there. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I wish I was crafty - I couldn't even make a line straight... never mind anything else! I have been round the charity shops round where I live and there's not a fat lot to work with at the moment.
Thanks for the suggestion though!Became Mrs C on 14th of August 20100 -
My pal last year went as smurfette. She bought a plain white dress in the sales, blue body paint, long blonde wig and a small piece of white fabric - fashioned into a hat.
She keep getting stopped in the street on route to the party with people wanting a photo. (At the party she won best dressed female - prize a year gym membership with Espota )
