Hi
Does anyone out there know of an insurance company that will take into account NCB earnt over 4 years ago? I have 6 years NCB in my own name (after that I've been a company car driver and won't get anywhere near the same discount even though i've not claimed in 4 years).

I think three years is the general maximum but I think there are companies that will accept claim free company car use in place of NCB
Not sure if the comparison sights will allow it so it might be one for a traditional broker0 -
2 years mostly. You will need to phone companies directly and explain, Dont bother with comparison sites.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

try the NFU

my husband had a company car for years, then when that went was added to my car as second driver. When he finally purchased a car himself earlier this month quotes were £600+ as he had no NCB, but speaking to the above they take into account your age and amount of time you have been driving. Quote was £300 fully comp.
Find you nearest branch and speak direct, not only is it UK based, it is also usually only a short distance from you too.
As an added bonus they only charge 1.25% for monthly payment.

Thank you soooo much Feel My Fork. I've just rung NFU and got a fabulous deal, saving me £25 a month.
Thank you again!!!:j:j:j:j:j0 -
