Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Hi Celyn
I will be glad to help. Couple of possibilities here:
1. Your new meter details have not been updated onto your billing system
2. Meter readings on your new meter have been updated incorrectly and the readings you are trying to enter are lower than the previously billed readings.
Colin @ ScottishPower
Thank you very much, Colin! I think it's likely to be suggestion number 1 as it hasn't been read since the new meter was put in.
I have managed to email Scottish Power through the website, so I expect it will all become clear. Of course when I logged in I found they had already come up with an estimate, but it was one that left me in credit, so that was a relief.

Thanks, Premier, I really should have thought of that. But when worried and flustered, all logic goes out the window.0 -

I have found this product to be very good. It worked out cheapest for me and i got cashback via Quidco. also it has the useful feature that you can input gas/elec readings any time and it will do the math to show whether your account is in credit or deficit. You can then take steps to address it.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
