Xbox connection problems via router

I have just begun to have problems connecting two xbox's to the internet. They are connected via two homeplugs to a single homeplug connected to oneethernet port in the virginmedia combined modem/router (NETGEAR).

The problem I am having is that only one can connect to the internet at once, with the other showing NAT blocked.

I have tried resetting the modem/router, changing the port forwarding settings and DMZ putting one xbox in here as suggested elsewhere on the net but to no avail.

I'm out of ideas as this has only happened tonight and previously both could connect similtaneously without incident. Also the new modem/router is a replacement for separate netgear router and modem and there were no problems then.

Could the problem be the use of three homeplugs? If so what could the answer be. It is not possible to use a long ethernet cable due to the position of router and xboxes being in different rooms.

Hope someone can shed light on how to solve this headache!

but are you port forwarding for both devices .

i have BT home hub and i have to port forward for the specific device ( i.e Xbox) and it's assigned address . so opening the correct port for Xbox live only works for the Xbox i ask it to , not for my laptop ect .
