Which card?

Hi Everyone my names Paul and i'm new to this site,been looking at applying for a credit card to pay off a gas and water bill approx. 1200 pounds total.Could anyone recommend one? From my understanding only a few cards will allow this?Cheers

We'd need to know more about your circumstances before we could advise which card might be suitable for you, and you be able to obtain it.
Eg have you had cards before? what is your credit history like? do you have any debts? are you in employment, how much do you earn etc?

Also how long do you think it will take you to pay off the debt once it was on a card?

Have you tried negotiating with your utility providers to pay them off in monthly installments, most will allow this if you explain its all you can afford and won't charge you interest so could end up much cheaper. Most will allow you to pay arrears over up to a year.

Yes got one egg card,credit history is good,i'm in full time employment.Me and my partner are struggling at the moment as there is only temporary work abailable for her.My wages cover everything so adding another £50 a month is going to be the straw that breaks the camels back.We've tried negotiating with them but other than this way its going to be meters which i don't really want
