Barclaycard money spinner 0844

Hi,

I tried to register with barclaycard and although I made sure all my details were correct the site came back telling me I had to phone an 0844 number. I checked the call charges for this and they were 5.5p per min with a 9.9p setup fee!
I think this is just another way of getting more money out of their customers.
I have emailed them my thoughts and will let you know the outcome.:mad:

0844 numbers are crafty as they often fall outside many people's phone packages - you can get 0845 and 0870 numbers included free but not 0844. They generate more income for the greedy banks.

Try www.saynoto0870.com as they often can alternative numbers when you search a company. I usually dial the free ones and ask to be put through saying my phone wont allow 08 chargeable numbers.
