I have a Tiny desktop model no 262 series. I have not used it for a while and want to take all old photos off the hard drive before I chuck it as it wont boot up. I have taken out the hard drive which is a Seagate U Series 120gb. Just want help in finding which caddy to buy to extract the data. Thanks

do you have access to another desktop?
then you can to just open the side, set the hard drive on the desk/shelf beside it and plug it into a suitable spare internal power cable and hard disk socket (you should be able to pinch a suitable data cable from the old Tiny PC).
should be a zero cost activity0 -

Not necessarily - many modern PCs only have SATA connections and with an old IDE drive like this it might not be possible to plug it in. There might be an IDE connector with a CD/DVD drive plugged in which could be used temporarily. I guess there are adaptor cables if there are only SATA connections. Otherwise an IDE external drive caddy should do.0 -

I've not yet come accross one that had ZERO IDE connectors, they tend to include at least one for legacy purposes (such as copying photo's off old hard drives)
if it really doesn't you can get an enclosure for about £10+ or type IDE to SATA into ebay and you should be able to get a small circuit board that'll let you plug it in internally for about £2 delivered.... probably from china somewhere0 -
I had a gander on E-Bay on they were about £12.00 to £14.00 plus postage. However I then found one on Play.com delivered for £11.99. Ordered an on the way. Thanks for the suggestions but I think some of the ideas were perhaps a bit technical for me. I did work as a buyer for a Data Systems co for some years so do have some idea what to do. Thanks all0

Has your other pc no ide connection ??? As JasX says the vast majority of pc's DO have ide even many of today's new ones.0

Either an external USB disk case, or you can even get just a USB cable with an IDE connector (I guess you use the PC's power supply).
It's not uncommon for even SATA disk PCs to still use IDE for the DVD drive.0
