what is dual layer???0

they are discs which have double the capacity of normal dvds - so about 9.4GB.. the films you buy are dual layer and if you notice a pause during playback that is when it is changing layers.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0

dual layer disks are a bit expensive at the moment.. what you would need to do is to "shrink" the data to fit onto a normal "dvd". google..""Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

if i shrink it and burn it no to a normal disk wil that play on my dvd player?0

what is the best """""all format dual layer """"""" dvd writer on the market ?0

hard question to answer that.. but i have always like the pioneer drives and had no issues with them. The 111 (not the 111D) will write all formats.
