Read on here about cancelling Sky! So as money is tight I just tried to cancel They offered me half price I said know so they just said ok we'll cancel! Where did I go wrong??

Money is tight - did you actually want to cancel.
If the first, why didnt you take the half price they offered.
If the second - they did exactly what you asked them to do.
Your post is very confusing, no one knows exactly what you wante.dmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

You went wrong because someone told you if you speak to cancellations they will offer you a deal
- you did ring sky
- they did offer 50% off deal
- then you tried for more .. .. this was where you went wrong
- so they accepted your cancellation
My advice ring again, tell them you became flustered / confused / embarrassed and ask for the 50% offer to be made again. Then accept gracefully, tell the poor sod on minimum wage what a nice pleasant individual they are and thank them for their help.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
