Not only do they decide to completely ignore one fault, but they completely bodge another fault probably damaging it more AND then break the case to top it off.
Needless to say i expressed my displeasure and sent it back but its no skin off my back, as it means ill be getting a replacement laptop to the value of £1200.... because of some incompetent lazy buffoon.
So i suppose its a bit of praise too....:rotfl:

What was the item they repaired or you wanted to be repaired0

DCFC79, since the OP is getting a replacement laptop, my guess is that the item was a laptop.0

That'd be a logical conclusion there.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -

Well done sir's, you'd be correct. This time I was advised to include a message in the screen detailing the faults but seeing as they only have 2 days after collection before Im entitled to a replacement theyre going to have a problem rectifying (now) 3 issues.
Funny enough, the faulty laptop is actually a replacement from a previous WEH agreement and oddly enough this is allowable..... So this is the one situation where I find an extended warranty (taken in the last month of the warranty ofc) is useful of cost effective....
My initial £880 invesment + ~£180 in WEH payments = One £880 laptop + One £1100 Laptop And hopefully One £1200 laptop. = £3180 of laptop for £1060
Of course it wont cost this much to them but its oh so MSE.

If I wasn't tech minded and wanted to repair a pc Tech Guys would be the very last place on earth I'd take it. They are paid peanuts and if you placed 100 of them in front of a computer for a 1000 years they wouldn't be able to write the works of Shakespeare.0

I could quite competantly repair it myself. Hence I know it needs a new keyboard and track pad and now a new casing. I just gave the insurance as I know it will most likely allow me a like for like replacementBack by no demand whatsoever.0
