Satellite from the U.S.A.

Does anyone know if you can receive satellite programmes from the U.S. with the digital receiver and dish from Lidle?

    You can only get a signal from a satelite if it is in line of sight.

    I think the curvature of the earth would be way too much.
    I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    dependant on what satallite you are looking for the above post is semi correct
    but it also depends on the footprint of the satallite,
