    Doh! Should have thought of there in the first place! There's a hardware store on Clifton Street too I should have thought of.

    Supermarkets don't sell it anymore.

  • My mum used the thin wallpaper stuff that you use under the proper stuff (sorry can't think of what its called :D) when she wanted to block out her windows whilst decorating.

    My mum used the thin wallpaper stuff that you use under the proper stuff (sorry can't think of what its called :D) when she wanted to block out her windows whilst decorating.

    It's called lining paper , about £1.80 in Wilko for a 10 metre roll.

    If you mean Cobwoods then I'm afraid that it shut at least a year ago

    That brought back some memories, Cobwoods took over the Clifton Street shop when my Grandad & Uncle (Wakeling Brothers Ltd) retired in the late 60s. In those days it was just number 50. Happy days.
