Join a Book Club.

I've just made over £37 for a very little effort.
I like books, but stopped buying from BCA some time ago to save money. They recently sent me an offer to re-join and buy six books for 1p plus postage. Before ordering I looked through the leaflet and went onto amazon to check out the re-sale price of each one through the amazon marketplace. I chose the six that are most popular and would fetch the most money and ordered them. When they came I put them on as new books at the lowest price and all six have sold in lesss than a week. After paying postage, amazon fees, for envelopes and for the books I have made £37. Of course I do have to buy 4 books in the next 2 years but as I do buy new books for friends and relatives, that won't be a problem. they tend to be good value and the latest books anyway. Not much money you might say but every little bit helps and I am going to buy a new kettle with this!

With books so cheap nowadays I personally would not bother with a book club. It will be all to easy to lose your £37 buying overpriced books and paying P and P in future from a Book club.

Also it is worth remembering that BCA books often do not have ISBN numbers and have to be declared as book club editions so will usually fetch lower prices. I bought a box at auction recently and basically wasted my money as they were all BCA editions and worthless.
