Clinic.hac file??

Options
hello
i've just stumbled upon a few oddities in my document folders - there's a document file named 103M001IRJHZU01C which I certainly never named! it contains something called clinic.hac which sounds ominous! It says its a data file. there are alo others called MPEGAV which has something called AVSEQ01.DAT in it. Another called SEGMENT which shows ITEM0001.DAT and lastly a VCD file containing ENTRIES.VCD INFO.VCD. LOT.VCD
AND PSD.VCD

can anyone enlighten me? i really don't understand computers beyond turning it on and off. i presume they are ok as my anti-virus hasn't picked them up, but i just wondered what on earth they are doing in my documents!

thanks and best wishes

  • Don't know about clinic.hac, but the AVSEQ01.DAT file and the associated files are mpeg video files. VCS and SVCD are compressed video formats that could be burnt to CD. Not good quality, but that's what was available before DVDs.
