I'm suprised you received a response bbb_uk. And having done so, it's not just a 'fob off' one either.

What Mr Dunstone is admitting is that (for big BT changes, at least) Talk Talk will be following BT. Yet more proof that competition is not working for the good of the consumer and more proof that the average consumer doesn't twig on that such changes are significant covert increases. If consumers were aware, then the competition could probably capitalise on these changes.

I suspect it was only because I said that I expected the 'standard' type reply and would appreciate a more original non-standard response!

Had I not have put anything like that in it and just asked for the reason I probably wouldn't have gotten a reply from him personally and instead it would have been one of his employees.

They've also added in some sneaky new charges to make up for any price cuts, which seems very unfair, such as charging per minute billing and a new 3p “set up” charge for all calls to mobiles and day time calls for Option 1 and 2 customers."
You'll be glad to hear this was all just a typo! Talktalk have 'edited' his 'blog' to remove the offending references to 'sneaky' '"set up"' and '3p charge' see the current version here :D:rolleyes::p:cool:

... and now see how it looked (but did he ever said those things.. really?) here [google cache: link will die eventually] on 2nd October

Sorry - I missed it! But you have to admit it - they've some cheek trying to airbrush comments like that - so maybe it's a fact worth repeating (repeating..(repeating...? :rotfl:
