:/ I've ordered more than 10 of an item before now, if that was a genuine limitation then surely they wouldn't let you add more than that to your basket.

I'd push for some compensation, I had a canceled delivery once and they emailed me a £10 voucher code as an apology.

All they had to do was to hold back the excess items and refund you the difference, or better yet, phone you first to explain :/

Are you being sarcastic? I hope so, even if it is misplaced.

This also happened to me about three months ago and it was also my first order with them. After waiting over an hour past the end delivery slot and double checking my email confirmation - I gave them I call. The person I spoke to from customer services and was told they did not know:-
    1. Why my order my had not been delivered
    2. Why I had not been contacted about the delay?!?
    3. If I had been charged for the absent shopping
I was told that they would look into this and someone would call me back in a few hours.

True to their word I was contacted an hour later by a rep from my local store who explained my order had been cancelled as my shopping was too heavy???!!!??? ( I can only assume that my bottled water was just too much). I said surely I should have been contacted to let me know of this rather than me waiting in on this when I was hosting a party that night and needed to purchase all of these items again! All I got was a sorry and we will feed this back.

I kept my response short and told them this was my first and only online shop & delivery I would make with them for their failure to notify me.

I went back to my usual supermarket for delivery (who can deliver my water!) and comp for any late deliveries (which has been very rare).
