How much for replacement vaccination certificates? (cat)

Hi,
We recently adopted a cat from a friend as her new baby was allergic. We're going on holiday next month for a week so wouldn't feel happy asking a neighbour to feed him and our families live 20 miles away. So we've decided he's going to have to go to the cattery. They need to see copies of his vaccination certs which his previous owner can't find (she never put him in the cattery so didn't think about storing them somewhere safe), although she knows he had his jabs in the spring. She's going to give me the details of his vets (won't be the same one we're going to use as it's 30 min drive away) so I'll ring and ask for replacements/ copies.
Has anyone done this and did the vet charge you? How much?
Thanks!

I dont think they will charge you anything? Can they scan and email copies to you? Your new vet will need the cat's history anyway.0

We don't charge unless you ask us half a dozen times!! We would probably print of a list and fax that to the cattery or pop it in the post. Simple enough to do for most computerised systems0

Woop that's good news! I guess I must be cynicial and expect everyone to charge for anything. Also I work in the NHS and you have to expect to pay for any type of admin there!0
