Best Nail Varnish Make?

Can anyone recommend a nail polish that does not chip.

I spend ages applying nail varnish, and then within a couple of days it either chips off of the tips wear off.

I think that it is probably in the bath that they start to wear off!

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced brand that will actually last for a week?

Thanks in advance

  • I brought a cheap nail varnish from superdrug for a quid by MUA brand, have to say it is one of the best i have used. Had it on for two days without putting a base coat and a top coat and it has not chipped. The nail varnish it self is not thick as some and when applied it does not look gloopy.

I can tell you which one NOT TO TRY

L'Oreal Resist & Shine Up to 7 days.

It lasts a couple of days at best.
  • i know your supposed to use a base coat - but i have noticed that when i do that is when my varnish chips quicker than without. so only when i use dark polish do i use a base coat.

I have given up on the expensive ones and now use rimmel 60 second nail polish. Cheap and it lasts.

I've never used one that lasts more than 3-4 days without a top coat, barry M is my go to as it's all round fantastic.
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

Another vote for Barry M here. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
I won Chanel Paradoxal recently and it's nowhere near as resilient.

    Barry M!

or China Glaze, it's expensive but lasts so well, I get mine from ebay from the USA..with shipping it costs about the same as Barry M as long as you dont mind a little wait for it to arrive :)
