Are warranties worth buying?
Picking up the small van we have bought for son this evening. The garage have serviced it and changed cam belt and water pump. They are offering a 12 month warranty (4 star plan) with a company called VGS for £80.
Now Ive tried to understand what this covers and it seems a lot but then it also excludes wear and tear and surely most engine component break downs are going to be due to wear and tear? Or am I wrong please?
