Need a smart router for port-forwarding

On my laptop, I run quite a few apps/games that need incoming ports open on my broadband router. I can do this mapping for one IP address in the NAT range (192.168.1.x).

However, I use the laptop sometimes with wi-fi and sometimes with a wired connection. Each connection gets allocated a different IP address, I guess due to the router picking up a different MAC address for the network cards.

So depending how I connect, the incoming connections don't get routed to the active IP address.

I need a router that maps incoming ports to the 'active' NAT session, not a fixed NAT IP address. Any ideas, or is there another way to solve this? I should add that there are also several wired PC's connected to the router.

You would be better setting your laptop with a fixed IP address rather than allowing DHCP to allocate it one. Then open the ports to forward to that IP address.
