Blackpool Council HB delay due to computer changeover

Not sure if this is a country wide changeover, but, Blackpool council are due to change over computer systems from friday and will then spend 2 weeks setting it up and training. During this time, no new claims will move forward, BUT, will all be backpaid from the date claimed.
As far as i'm aware, any live claims will be paid as normal.
More information to anyone in Blackpool just starting out a claim for HB really, but like i said, not sure if this is a country wide system changeover.
Might be worth checking with your local council if you seem to have been waiting a while for any news on a new claim.
