Today Only - 1p photo prints......

There was a big '1p' ad on the homepage earlier which has now disappeared. Is the offer still on?

Offer still on it says there are 19p but before filling in details enter the code the offer has been extended.

I have wasted 3 hours tonight trying to get this to work. Have used it before and it was ok then. After it says they have been uploaded I get a message saying no photos have been received. Help please!!!!!!!

I have tried to FTP my photos.

I clicked the link...I went to the album I had created (Holiday2004) which was as expected empty and dragged and dropped by photos.

They are currently all uploaded now to the FTP site.

But, without closing that screen down, but refreshing the homepage, my album is still empty.

On the FTP help page, it talks about changing you email address to ie chris@somehwere.com to Chris.somewhere.com as the FTP sometimes has problems with the @ sign.

I didn't have to log In as I was already logged in.

So..is it just as the site is very slow at the moment my piccies seem to be in limbo, or do I need to do something else?

It took me a few minutes for the images to show through ftp. It seemed to accept my email address okay but the uploading of pictures and the time delay can cause some confusion.

It did notice that pictures seem to upload to a temporary folder and after about 5 uploaded they move to a folder I had created and set the ftp program to upload to.

Noticed it earlier but thanks for the reminder The back log started at 45 minutes, it's up to 3 hours now, so I reckon the photos might appear about 1 a.m. lol

Good thing I'm an insomniac sometimes

They're transferring a bit quicker now by the way - but where to's another thing lol

Well I'd like to know where my 82 piccy's went as well. At least I'm not the only one though as I see highland-lass has had the same problem.

Anyone tell me should I send pictures by email (it does state send images via email) or do I attach every single photo? *confusing or what*



edit: send jpeg files - I think is the right answer.

Phew, all done and ordered at last. I took the FTP route which worked best for me, but it has still taken a few hours to complete.

I hope Photobox haven't shot themselves in the foot with this offer. They are a very slick and professional outfit who I highly recommend. However I fear many people trying to get through to their overloaded servers tonight won't have come away with that impression.
