Getting cash in Tunisia

Hi,

I'm going to Tunisia for the first time in a few weeks. I realise it's a closed currency and we will need to exchange once we arrive but don't know the best way to do this.

Do they accept normal English notes (i.e £10/£20) or travellers cheques etc?

Do they accept Sterling/Euro's in shops like they do in Turkey?

I just got back 6 hours ago from Tunisia. Had a good time overall.
If your staying at a resort then they should have a change bureau in the hotel. I also believe you can change your money in the airport but we changed ours in the hotel.
The currency is Dinar and is currently £1 equals 2 dinars 270 millimes.
Shops in Tunisia won't accept Euro however.
Tunisia is a tipping country on the main so you don't go there blind.
Hope you have a good time. I went for two weeks. Past 12 days was 30 degrees + however yesterday was cloudy but today as I left at 7am looked like it was setting out to be a nice day.
