It's back..
I was half expecting to see a post on here already about this...
For a limited time selected branches are offering £100 if you open a bank account and agree to use the in-branch transfer service to switch one credit and at least two debits.
This promotion is only available to those who are NOT already a 'main banking customer', and therefore it is unlikely that existing bank account customers will qualify.
To clarify - A main banking customer is someone who pays in more than £1k a month or holds an Ultimate Reward Current Account. If you fall into one of these categories, you won't benefit.
The 'old' £50 promotion was available to anyone as long as you transferred, regardless of what accounts you already had and by how much they were funded. This is not the case with the £100 promotion.
Another point to note - The 'credit' must be salary or pension. Staff have been told in rather stern terms not to offer the fund to any customer that is solely dependent on benefits - don't shoot the messenger!
Offer ends this Sat.
