Boots Offer of the week (OOTW) 2009 to 2010

Oh the holding screen on the Boots website! Remember the little wry smile the "happy couple" had. As if to say, there's no point refreshing the page, we've had all the hatboxes, flogged on ebay and are now in the Caribbean on the profits hahaha! Wonder if Boots will finally sort out the website this year?

im not impressed with this years Front cover offering, it seems to get worse each year !

I still have lots of my hat box left and some ive not even opened !

Still, i KNOW i will be sat on my poota hitting refresh waiting for news of a bargain !

Sickened myself with S&G this year as I bought so much at Christmas time and me and my daughter both got the hatbox so I'm glad I won't be involved in the rush this year. I only use 'Sit Tight' now, the smell is to die for.
They have brought out a HUGE range of male gift sets this year so I suspect that will be one of the OOTW.

Out of interest - wasn there really any need to stay up all night to get the hatboxes? I only ask because I went into my local Boots at about 2 in the afternoon the next day and picked up three of them. Did I just get lucky?

lol! - I tried to get one for my mum and sister online early morning and gave up in the end - then the following week my mum walked in to her little local boots and found a whole stack of them
She got 3 too

ah yes happy memories. i finally gave up refreshing once i had fallen asleep twice and found lap top on floor. then following morning in my small local branch was at till collecting prescription, while explaining all about it to my mum when she pointed over my shoulder and said do you mean one of those. as the assistant was lifting them off the trolley eager little hands were waiting so that they didnt reach the shelf. i was lucky to grab one but have not even looked in box yet.... will save till this christmas

I remember that annoying smug couple on that page too, and can remember the sheer relief when I got my mitts on one of those hat boxes I'm still working my way through it now.
