Nat West Advantage Gold 'perks'?

Recently rang Nat West with a query on their 5 star travel insurance and got the shock of my life, when i was asked if i had reviewed it recently. I was asked about any illness or on going medication, I declared these details for both my wife and myself and they said for me to be covered I would need to pay a 'top up' of £160.

I rang another reputable travel insurance company and got a completely new policy for just over £100!

How can they ask for top ups of this amount when other companies can offer the same cover on a new policy for £60 less?

Moral to this is dont be relying on your free insurance to cover you if you fall ill abroad! But its not free it costs you £12.05 per month!

Moral to this..don't pay for the "perks" on a bank account, they are almost always available cheaper elsewhere!
