    Complete and utter balderdash. There is no such law or legal pecedent and if they claim there is - what is it? I smell troll - time wasting our time on made up stories.

    no not a troll and yes it is true, got my contract + offer letter in the post this morning. Just thought you guys would like to know so no need to go all moody :D

    So in the space of three days you managed to have appts with a couple of sols and get a contract agreed and issued? You have clearly never worked in the public sector, because (aside from the fact you have no case) things do not work that quickly.

    See you for your usual Jobcentre sign on Monday morning? ;)
