Gas bill - debt collectors ?
Comments
-
Sorry -Bengal stripe - I did not give you a blow by blow account before - but here goes -
I contacted the gas company without the account number (long since forgotten) and gave them :
The address of the property
The postcode
My mobile number - for contact - which was how the debt collectors texted me.
The date of the alleged debt
The amount of the alleged debt
The reference number form the debt collectors
I then .......
I told them about the repossession etc.
I said that I have the warrant issued by the court
I have letters from the building society and their solicitors
I scanned the documents before the call and sent them over to the lady for verification.
I gave them a c/o address and they will send the bill estimated on previous years consumption for the few days that are outstanding ......
'Smoothly' ....... I think so ...my dear bengal .... the wonders of computers never ceases to amaze me.
I think your comment about 'a review' was wrong - review what ??????
I PROVED by offical documents that I no longer owned the property .... they can only come to one conclusion .. the one they did - obviously...
I appreciate that utilities are sometimes not the best people to deal with - try getting a telephone in France :-( - but this time the lady on the 'phone was fantastic.
No more now ... enough already ......
I am off now to polish my halo for a good days work well done !
Have a good one ......0
