wet electric heating

We have been in our new flat for 2 months. It is all electric witha Heatrae Sadia boiler to radiators with thermostatic control valves and a wireless programmer. The problem is the programmer{we'venever had one before}.It's programmed for the former occupants and we're having trouble changing it.Silly I know but could someone possibly try to explain it to me.Many thanks.

We have a Heatrae Sadia boiler and have found it very efficient. It doesn't seem to be working out too expensive. The 3 months that included t hat horrendous December came to £340,which considering we have no gas bill works out quite well.Working the cost out over a year it comes to just over £1000.We are at home all day and have the temperature varying between 15 and 20. 15 is during the day when we are busy or in and out.Hope this helps.Electric wet heating is certainly not as frightening as some people make out.By the way we are on British Gas Standard with bills online and variable direct debit.
