Lloyds TSB - Cash Account help?

I went in to a Branch today and they tried to check my risk banding and said there was nothing on there. They then said the Cash Account is not risk banded?

Is it possible to upgrade this account based on usage alone? as my credit is very bad and not likely to improve in the next 2/4 years!

The account is fine but don't like using a savings card to withdraw from other machines - so would like to one day be upgraded - or am i simply wasting my time with Lloyds as it will not happen?

Any help will be appreciated.

The cash account has a risk bank of 99

They rate full account holders from 1 -9 , 1 being the best , 9 being the greatest risk.

99 & 98 is normally reserved for cash account holders or new account holders.

Cash account holders cannot have any sort of lending facilities. They cannot have a chq bk, CC, loan and have to use LTSB cash points only.

If you have a poor credit history and its not likely to improve, you are wasting your time. Its time to take your business elsewhere and see how you fare.

Out of curiousity, have you got an easy saver savings account which comes with a cash card which you can use at any cash point?

If you are bad at managing money, the cash account is best for you cause if you go overdrawn on a full account, the charges will hit you for 6. You can end up paying £215 in charges. With a cash account it is a one of £15.
