Thanks Fatboy and everyone for the advice.
I'm looking into the local market this week. Once I get hold of a PAYG phone for incoming calls I'll start processing posters and leaflets!
I love the user id idea as a marketing tool but my problem is that I don't know how to publish a website
I'd better dust of my copy of Dreamweaver....0 -

A friend of mine has suggested retro designs on Fruit of the Loom T-shirts that a few other ebay sellers are doing, so I might start off with a small sample and see how it goes!
I've also mocked up some prototypes to include in the auctions!
Wish me luck......
Whats my cut?!!

Wish you all the luck, keep us posted how you are doing!

Hi there I'm also a newbie to the site been lurking for some time and came upon this thread.
Whilst not many people are doing this on ebay you have to be careful in your research, If you look for t-shirt transfers you will find many people buy multiples of these for transfering to their own size and style clothes for birthdays and hen nights.
I used to sell transfers on ebay and was approached by a lady wanting to buy a bulk of shrek t-shirt transfers for a hen night (maybe the groom looked like shrek or donkey?)
It is far easier to sell the transfers than to buy in stocks of every size t-shirts and the costs are minimal at least this way they are 100% sure the garment will fit if it is one of their own.
These type of transfers also sell well to school kids for school bags hand bags and pencil cases (things like busted and mcFly)
just an idea though

As I said elsewhere today, have a look at Nochex Classifieds that is just starting up. I like Nochex for their Payment Services Provider work that they do already. This 'classified' ads section could be good if it takes off. They will only have 1 charge (25p per item I think and no final fees). Plus I believe that they were offering some free payment tokens for a few weeks. They also have the facility to set up your own shop.
See what you think.[ Eat, Drink and be Merry - for tomorrow we get the bill ]0
