Recommended Supplier - Bella Bathrooms

Just wanted to recommend the Bella Bathrooms website (no I'm not a spammy new user :p). I've posted a few threads recently as we're in the process of re-doing our bathrooms. Bella have some great prices. I don't know if everything on there is cheap, but for the shower we wanted they charged £138, whereas it was £237 in B&Q (and a range of prices in between online). :money:

Ordered two showers and some cabinets, all at a far better price than other suppliers were offering. Delivery was quick. No complaints! Worth checking if you're pricing up bathroom items.

And, happy days, they deliver using Parcelforce instead of Home (Non) Delivery Network.

  • I have to say, that after some searching I found some good recommendations for them on here, so I intend to use them myself. I've seen the same pieces in other stores for double the price, they really do seem like a good deal.
    I have a blog too...

  • Dont use this company if you have any alternative they are anything but helpful when it comes to solving disagreements and practises which are only just legal and are selling damaged goods in the hope you dont check them when they are delivered

I have just taken delivery of a large cabinet when the driver delivered at 8:40 am his van blocked the road. In trying to allow my neighbours to get out to work/school I signed the delivery slip unchecked as the packaging looked fine from the outside.

When I returned from work, I discovered a dent in one of the side panels- when I contacted Bella re a replacement I was told I should have inspected them at the time of delivery- its in their terms and conditions. No replacement forthcoming.

Credit card company cant do anything about getting me a refund either as its in Bella bathrooms terms and conditions. They even charged me double the delivery cost quoted on their website

Wont be using these shysters again

I was listening to something on the radio a few days ago which stated that regardless of what is in the T&Cs, signing for a delivery simply confirms that you have received it, not that you've inspected it and confirmed everything is ok. I cannot find any legal information about this but CAB state on their website:
If you find something wrong after the delivery firm has gone, you can still complain to the trader. This applies even if you have signed a delivery note. When you sign a delivery note, you are only acknowledging receipt of the goods. It does not take away your right to complain if you find out later there is something wrong with the goods, although you should do this as soon as possible

I think it may fall under 'unfair contract terms'
