london cinema for a £1

went to london yesterday for the day.
went shopping(did not buy anything) anyway when looking to see what we could do, the odeon and empire cinemas were charging £11 to £13 pounds to see a film, it was only 4pm. anyway again :j the prince of charles cinema had films from £1.50, i went in and asked what is the next film showing and was told the brick and it was £1. okay it did not have any big stars and the cinema was quite old, (it has surround sound) but for a £1 it was okay, they were advertising more popular films as well, (the break up) .

very good cinema and has many retro, avant garde, underground type movies. the price of tickets in these cinemas around central london is absolutely disgusting.

  • if i'm picturing the correct cinema, it always seems to be showing sing-a-long films whenever i've passed it :D

You are thinking of the correct cinema, they do sing-a-longs every couple of weeks.

But everyday they show movies that have been out for a while for between £1.50 and £4 (depending on when you go). The seats are comfy, the price is fantastic, you can't beat it! I'd rather wait a couple of months to see a film and pay a third of hte price....
