Please find the part of the manual that explains this! I've actually just spoken to my good friend who's a very experinced NT, and he agrees, there is no visual inspection of balljoints.Really? Thats news to me and pretty much every MOT tester. The reason being that the grease gets lost and the dirt and water gets in causing failure.
You have not been charged for this lesson.
It's certainly not an RFR, unless there is play in the joint.
Just because there is something you think should fail, does not mean it will.
